Future and Form Team Members at Forthcoming Online Conference ‘New Networks for Nature’ 2020, hosted by UEA
Future and Form writer Mona Arshi and steering committee members Jean McNeil and Steve Waters are all set to participate in UEA’s forthcoming online conference entitled ‘New Networks for Nature.’
This timely and exciting event brings together writers on two panels: ‘New Perspectives on Nature Writing’, featuring Jessica J. Lee, Mona Arshi and Jean McNeil, portrays the expansive field of contemporary nature writing, which has grown to concern itself with migration, place and identity. ‘States of Emergency’, featuring James Thornton, Rupert Read, Rebecca Tillett and Steve Waters, brings to the conference a discussion about writing’s role in the context of the Anthropocene and climate change. The conference is organised by John Fanshawe, Jos Smith and Jean McNeil and sponsored by UEA.
The event takes place on Saturday, 14 November 2020 from 16:00 – 18:30 GMT with two pre-recorded panels which will be available to watch beginning on Monday, 9 November. You will find a full description of the conference here, along with registration details.
